The Orphan Support Program at Arrahman Welfare Foundation Canada is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for orphaned children in Chitral. Our program currently supports 120 orphaned children, offering them a comprehensive range of services designed to meet their physical, emotional, and educational needs. Our goal is to ensure that these children have the opportunities and resources they need to grow, learn, and thrive, despite the hardships they have faced.One of the core components of our project is providing nutritious meals to ensure that the children are receiving the food and nutrients necessary for their growth and development. Access to healthy food is often a challenge for orphaned children, which is why we prioritize providing balanced and nutritious meals every day.Education is another pillar of the Orphan Support Project. We believe that every child has the right to a quality education, and we are committed to providing these children with the tools and support they need to succeed academically. The children in our project receive access to formal schooling and learning resources to ensure they excel. We also work to foster their love for learning, empowering them to build bright futures through education.Providing a safe and secure shelter is essential for the well-being of the children in our care. In Kalash Valley, where resources are limited, many orphaned children face the risk of homelessness. Our project provides them with a safe home where they can grow, play, and rest without fear. The shelter is designed to be a warm, caring environment where they feel protected and supported, surrounded by compassionate caregivers who are dedicated to their well-being.In addition to meeting their basic needs, our Orphan Support Project places a strong emphasis on character building and emotional support. We recognize that orphaned children often face emotional and psychological challenges as a result of the loss of their parents. Through mentorship, and life skills training, we help these children build resilience, develop self-esteem, and foster strong moral values. By focusing on their character development, we ensure they grow up to become confident, caring, and responsible individuals.The Orphan Support Project is not just about providing for the children's immediate needs — it's about offering them a path to a brighter future.
