Eid Gift Hampers

At Arrahman Welfare Foundation Canada, we believe that no one should be left behind during the joyous celebrations of Eid. Our Eid Gift Hamper program was created to ensure that struggling families, orphans, and vulnerable individuals can also experience the happiness, dignity, and unity that Eid brings. For many of those we serve, Eid can be a difficult reminder of their hardships — but with your support, we turn it into a day of joy, hope, and belonging. Each Eid Gift Hamper is thoughtfully packed with dry groceries, ingredients for special Eid desserts, and essential food items that help families prepare festive meals in their homes. Good food is a vital part of Eid celebrations, and by providing these ingredients, we enable families to create traditions, share meals, and strengthen their bonds. Feeling included in the joy of Eid is crucial for building self-worth, community connections, and emotional healing — especially for children who are growing up in difficult circumstances. Depending on the available funds and donations, we also include new clothes and shoes for children, helping them feel proud and excited, just like other children celebrating Eid. For many, these may be the only new clothes they receive all year. By gifting them something special, we give them more than material items — we give them memories, confidence, and the happiness of being seen and valued.
